on a quest to find a cute sheep plushie like this, my
wild sheep chase.  I must get one!!!

Another rough day, healthwise.  Blehhhh, this is just not my week.  My poor body.  My cold is bad enough on its own without having to deal with stomach tantrums.  Mannnnn, I wanna hurry up and get better so that I can eat that super yummy coconut cream pie in the fridge...  ; ~ ;

SOAP MAKING

The other day, a colorful photo of Lego people-shaped soaps caught my eye on the CraftGawker app and made me want to change my plans for my first soap-making venture to be very soon rather than sometime in the distant future.  These would make super cute Christmas stocking stuffers!  They sell the silicone ice cube trays (which mean that you can make ice cubes, bake, make candy, resin, soap) online/in the Lego store, though the Lego brick tray is exclusive to the online store, I hear.

But I also still need to get the clear glycerin soap base as well as the silicone ice cube trays... ugh, why does crafting have to be so expensive?  = x =;

GAIA

Yesterday, I was made aware of the "long awaited housing update", whose official announcement was today.  For the first time in YEARS, I actually tinkered with my house.  While they interface was indeed more "modern", I couldn't help but feel that the old housing item graphics (like the white dots in between the rug tiles) contrasted too awkwardly with the much more polished new interface.

And even though I thought that the "click to put ___ on ___" was kinda cool, didn't it used to be easier to arrange things in the old system?  Now, you have to click on an item to move, rotate, or put it away, then exit that mode to deal with something else.  Hmm.  Unless they added more things from yesterday (it was a soft launch, after all..), I can't help but feel less than enthused about this update.

I keep on forgetting that I have a Gaia house.  And the paintings are still backwards.

Today, after being reminded of the latest RIG, Guardian Totem, by a friend, I decided to buy one with the Gaia cash that I earned by watching videos.  Even though it was random, I was borderline pleased to get the Rabbit Spirit.  I was considerably less pleased when I got a red dog leash worth around 20k.  >_>

Finally got out of Chargestone cave (I caught the Drilbur!  >D ) and leveling my team around Route 7 before heading to the Celestial Tower.  No pictures, but I wanted to include this fanart of Pokemon B/W that I thought was kinda cool.  (sorry, not sure who the artist is  >.< ) And while I'm at it, I'll throw in an awesome Professor Layton/Phoenix Wright crossover fan comic by the awesome Meru-chan!

As October inches closer towards Halloween, I realize that these easygoing days will soon be a distant memory.  However, as I did my usual late-night internet surfing, I realized that I missed Xanga , livejournal, and writing in my Gaia journal.  But both of those are so limited in audience and scope, so I decided to start a brand new blog, a place to record random panda happenings and projects.

 Today, I decided to just try out an MMO that my friend has been mentioning (in increasing frequency as of late), Tibia.  I'm not a very experienced MMO player, but even from my limited experience, this was quite different from other games that I've played.  I'm only level 4 at the moment, but that'll change when I play tomorrow! 

I also plan on trying out another MMO tomorrow, Eden Eternal.  Our internet connection has been violently narcoleptic, though, so I hope that it'll be stable enough to get through the beginning gameplay at the very least. 

And earlier tonight, I finally finished Professor Layton and the Unwound Future.  Gosh, I'm so emotional.  Even though no more than a few tears rolled down my cheeks, I still feel chotto hazukashii that I now cried for all three of the dear Professor's games that I've played.  >////<

I can't wait for GaiaOnline's annual Halloween event to start!  >w<  I wonder how this year's items will look like.  This year will make my 7th Halloween that I've spent there.  (technically, it's been 8 years, but I have don't think that I participated in the 2004 event; at the very least, I have no items from it.  =/  )

Thanks to the Halloween event on TinierMe, I've been considerably more active on that site (considering that I previously haven't logged in since I created the account).  xP I'm glad that I did start going back on, though, a very kind person gifted me an incredibly awesome dress!  And the Halloween login promotion!  And even though I was unsuccessful until now, I've even caught a few fish! ; A ;  *pathetic tears of joy*  Gaia still beats TinierMe in interface/fishing hands down IMHO, though.

Even though I've been making things like crazy just prior to this day or two lull in activity, I currently don't have anything more than plans.  I still have a couple of my creations to post on my deviantArt gallery, but no official projects or commissions.  Sometimes, it's good to just take a break, I guess.  n_n  I'll be busy making something again before I know it.  After my cousin showed me a webstore of super cute gothic lolita clothes that she ordered something from, I almost feel like making some myself...  Well, it's 4 am now, so I'd better call it a night! .... right after getting my free Gacha from TinierMe! x3
