Only Half Dead

Lo and behold, this blog (and me) is not dead!  You were probably thinking of rifling through my pockets, weren't you?  Sorry to disappoint!  I'm only half-dead!

My health has been bad.  Very bad.  Worse than my usual bad.  Almost as bad as my finances.  Which may or may not actually be in a better state than my health, actually.  Hm.  So anyway.  In an attempt to help myself get better or be able to afford to buy the somewhat pricy health food, herbs, and supplements that I want to try, I've been putting a lot of time and effort into listing my inventory online, on eBay and Etsy alike.  I will appreciate all the support and business that I can get!  So thank you to my friends and customers for helping to keep me alive! ; o ;

OH MY GOODNESS.  I am so, so, so stoked to have been featured in deviantArt's DELVE webzine, I never even knew that such things existed!  They were kind enough to include my Angry Birds Space amigurumi fanart plush on page 5, their themes were Space and Happiness, and though an unusual combo, the result is an amazzzzing issue!  Check it out~!

So.  Anyone who pays even the slightest bit of attention to my posts on Facebook would be able to tell that I've been addicted to Pinterest.  My boards (especially my DIY and Craft inspiration boards) have grown exponentially since I've joined.  I can't answer texts from even my beloved boyfriend until I've finished scrolling to the bottom of a category (unless the iPod app crashes).  We truly are in the age of DIY and crowdsource sharing!  I love sites like Pinterest because the best of the internet is all in one place, in a visual form that I can skim through, and there's always new things to see! That's how I discovered Brit + Co.

Speaking of nifty blogs, my friend recently showed me a charming one, The Burlap Bag, which inspired me to give my lone avocado seed in my windowsill some friends!  Now I have a very charming lineup, and I change their water every other day.  Here is the progress, the green onions and carrot flourished overnight (though, to be fair, the carrot was already sort of growing when I took it out of the bag)!  I was stunned!
