Oh, Happy Day/ Oh,....

3 Main Highlights of my day: 

1.  Waking up to find a package for me in the mail... from plastique!!  Immediate inner thought:  "I know that name!!!"  *rips open envelope*  kyaaaah~!!! <3 <3  He was able to get it for me after all... TTwTT I had requested it as an alternate form of  second part of payment for a commission, and after staring at it longingly on my Etsy favorites list for the longest time, I finally own it!!!  >w<  I love it for more than one reason, though, so thank youuuu, I'll treasure it always.

2.  Finally hearing back from an awesome deviant pal (well, at least on my part <3), Meiyoukat , after having disappeared from the interwebs for the longest time, and right after we were supposed to have finished an art trade.

3.  Having some girl chat time with one of my dearest friends, Fly!  Lately, I've been feeling increasingly uneasy and frustrated with things in general, but after talking with her, I felt much better.  Haha, I'm not incredibly girly when it comes to a lot of things, but I suppose that even I have some basic girl talk needs once in a while.

Newest batch of resin charms (the flower is purple)

                             

Worked on putting the final touches on both my latest batch of resin charms and Christmas gift - Codename: "Purple Spheal", started Christmas gift- Codename: "Pink Spheal."  Also, ended up spending a bit of time making a card for Reddit.  This morning, I saw this update in my News Feed:

Even though I didn't participate in this year's Secret Santa Exchange, I can help decorate their office.  HURRAH!  I'm making a whole bunch of cards anyway, so what's one more?  Also, this seemed to be a fun challenge to me as a geek crafter.

Here is my contribution!

I printed out an official proper ratio diagram of the reddit logo alien as reference, then eyeballed and cut out everything by hand, which I suppose sort of undermines having a nice little proper ratio diagram, but hey, whatever looks good, right?  One thing's for sure, though.  I will probably never use that red-orange cardstock to make a holiday card ever again.  Probably.
